Men’s Adventure Retreat in Costa Rica

Join us for an unforgettable adventure to the tropical paradise of Costa Rica! This retreat is designed to challenge, refresh, and transform men through exciting activities, meaningful Christ-centered devotionals, worship, and powerful missional experiences with Mission Activation Church. You’ll also have time to connect with other men and focus on personal spiritual growth.

Dates: August 13–18, 2025


Accommodations:
We will be staying at an incredible villa, just steps from the beach, owned by Mission Activation Church. This spacious villa accommodates up to 40 people, with rooms that feature hot showers, air conditioning, meeting spaces, a large kitchen and dining area, and an ocean-view balcony. The villa is located in the picturesque town of Playa del Coco, about 45 minutes from Liberia Airport.


Cost: $1999 per person
This price covers all meals, accommodations, and activities throughout the retreat. Please note that airfare and alcohol are not included.


Transportation:
Participants are responsible for booking their own airfare to Liberia Airport, aiming to arrive by 4 p.m. if possible. Mission Activation Church will provide shuttle service to and from the airport and villa, and all in-country transportation is included.


Recreational Activities:

  • Day Trip to Tamarindo: Surf, explore the town, or relax on the beach.
  • Diamante Adventure Park: Experience zip-lining over the jungle, visit the animal sanctuary, enjoy a cultural experience, participate in beach activities, and indulge in a delicious buffet lunch.
  • Private Catamaran Cruise: Sail along Costa Rica’s stunning coastline, with opportunities for snorkeling, kayaking, diving, fishing, or simply relaxing. A light lunch and open bar are included.
  • Rainforest Hike & Waterfall Adventure: Take a scenic hike through the rainforest to discover tropical waterfalls.


Missions Activities: 

  • Mission Activity 1- House Visits : We will spilt up into teams of 3-4 and work with Mission Activation team to bring food and supplies to impoverish villages and share the Gospel of Hope.
  • Mission Activity 2- Sports Night @ church : Our team will join Mission Activation Sports night on Friday night to play sports, share testimonies, and connect with Costa Rican locals.
  • Mission Activity 3- Sunday Church: Our team will attend Sunday service at Mission Activation for a time of worship and fellowship with locals.

Media Release:
I authorize Maverick River Collective, at its sole discretion, to use and publish for any lawful purpose and without compensation, photographs, video, audio and/or other depictions of registrant at this event.This authorization shall remain in effect until revoked in writing.
